Fairmont Regional Medical Center (formerly known as Fairmont General Hospital) is a community hospital founded in 1939. The hospital provides a wide variety of patient services and is accredited by the Joint Commission.

Chief Executive Officer Bob Adcock
Bob Adcock was named Chief Executive Officer for Fairmont Regional Medical Center in 2017.
Mr. Adcock brings over 30 years of senior leadership experience in the healthcare industry to Fairmont Regional Medical Center. His experience as an operational leader includes numerous roles at progressive healthcare organizations
Bob comes to Fairmont Regional Medical Center from St. Louis where he has served in various senior healthcare leadership roles since 2003
As CEO, Adcock works closely with the leadership teams at Fairmont Regional Medical Center and Alecto Healthcare Services in providing strategic and operational leadership for the hospital. Mr. Adcock also works directly with community leaders throughout North Central West Virginia to strengthen the relationships between the hospital and the citizens of the area.
Mr. Adcock received his Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham and his Bachelor of Science Degree in Commerce and Business Administration with a major in Healthcare Management from the University of Alabama. Mr. Adcock is Board Certified in Healthcare Management and a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Chief Nursing Officer Michelle Luffey
Michelle Luffey was named Chief Nursing Officer at Fairmont Regional Medical Center in July 2017.
Mrs. Luffey comes to Fairmont Regional Medical Center from St. Petersburg, Florida where she served as the Director of Patient Care Services for the Cardiac and Medicine Service Lines at Bayfront Health. Michelle brings to Fairmont over 26 years of experience in healthcare, including stints at Weirton Medical Center, Waynesburg University, Beaver Medical Center, UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Western Pennsylvania Hospital and Allegheny Valley Hospital.
As CNO, Mrs. Luffey will work closely with the leadership teams at Fairmont Regional Medical Center and Alecto Healthcare Services in providing nursing leadership for the hospital. Mrs. Luffey will work directly with nursing staff and the FRMC senior leadership team to strengthen relationships between our employees and the patients we serve.
Mrs. Luffey, who prefers to be called Michelle, has been married for almost 35 years to her husband Donald J. Luffey, Sr. She has a son, Donald, Jr, a daughter-in-law Amanda and one adorable grandson, Derek. Michelle is very happy to be moving here to West Virginia which will allow her to enjoy family celebrations.
