Fairmont Regional Medical Center Home Health Services provide a special combination of health care options for people of all ages. Convenient options designed to bring FRMC’s quality care to patients and families in the comfortable environment of their own homes. Home Health provides a broad spectrum of services ranging from intravenous drug and nutrition therapy to pre- and post-surgical follow-up, including cardiac follow-up care, rehabilitation and terminal care. Our Home Health Services work collaboratively with other agencies and hospital services to ensure you receive the best care in your home environment. We work with a number of clinical professionals to develop a home care treatment program that best fits your needs. Additionally, Fairmont Regional Medical Center Home Health is the only agency North Central West Virginia to receive the designation of HomeCare Elite, which names the top 25 percent of home health agencies in the nation. The award demonstrates our program's commitment to quality care.
HOME CARE FROM PROFESSIONALS
Fairmont Regional Medical Center’s Home Health Service is staffed by a team of caring professionals, including:
• Registered nurses and physical, occupational and speech therapists
• Certified nursing assistants
• Social workers
Under the direction of your doctor, Fairmont Regional Medical Center Home Health provides all the home care services and arranges for any equipment you may need to recover at home. We are Medicare certified and on-call 24-hours a day. Most insurance and health care plans cover home health care. Medicare, Medicaid and Worker's Compensation also pay for home care for those who qualify.
We coordinate billing and reimbursement directly with your insurance company and we make house calls. A variety of criteria are reviewed by Home Health staff prior to admittance into the program, however, patients must first have a physician referral.
